Helping you have a more positive attitude!

Published by sherpherdmom at 7:36 am under Health, Living Edit This

So what if these seem a little far-fetched? What have you got to lose???  Try one of these and see if it helps you have a more positive attitude!

  1. Refuel yourself with a splash of water: if you feel burned out, splash a little cold water on your face. In a recent study participants reported that splashing a little water on their faces helped them feel less stressed, increased energy and made them a little cheerier.
  2. Energy herbs: find rhodiola at health food store. Try 100 mg to 100 mg daily to help enhance your mood. It raises the “feel-happy” brain chemicals and there have been no reported negative side effects!
  3. Clean up a room to help put you in a good mood: removing clutter from just 1 area or room can improve your frame of mind. Piles of paper, clothes etc can leave you feeling down by creating anxiety about undone chores. Go slow; set a goal of one small area a day and you’ll be amazed about what you can get done!
  4. Cheer up with music: MRI’s show hearing music can activate the happy centers of the brain. One study even showed when pessimistic people listened to their favorite music for 2 weeks they became more optimistic!
