Easy jobs you can do on the side to earn extra money

Published by sherpherdmom at 12:41 pm under Hobbies, Living, Odds and Ends Edit This

Looking for a way to make some extra money?  It may be easier then you think.  Just think of something your good at. It may be cooking, playing guitar or sewing, just to name a few. What about animals? Do you raise animals or have been involved with a certain species like horses, sheep, rabbits, dogs?

The idea is to think of something your good at and then teach others!  Think of some kind of service you can provide to others. You can talk to the local schools, recreation centers and provide a class about something you love to do.

Private lessons are in high demand. Start off small and as you become more comfortable with what you’re doing and if the feedback is good then you re-evaluate what you charge for the class. I used to give horse lessons. I would go to the client’s house or they could come to mine. I would work with them on every aspect of the horse; the body, feeding, care, training etc.

A handyman or woman can be a great side business. People preparing a home to sell usually need little odds and ends done. Talk to the local realtors to get your name out. Tell them what you can do; paint, hang pictures, even work in the flowerbeds.

Other ideas are sitting with, or checking on, an elderly person, walking dogs, grocery shopping for someone. The list is unlimited, all you have to do is decide what you like to do, and get your name out there, start by telling your friends, then move on to an ad in your local town paper.
